Glazing: Wednesday Workshop (Members Only)

Students must:

• Purchase their own clay (available at ASP)

• Pay for their own firing & glazing

• Bring their own clay tools (some are available for purchase in the office)

• Bring their own apron and towel

• Provide own dust mask and gloves for glazing

• ASP is only able to fire clay brands/types that ASP stock

About:

The language and ingredients in many glaze recipe books can be overwhelming. This course is designed to break down some of this mystery and to encourage students to explore and enjoy their own glaze styles. The course will help in the understanding of different recipes, testing and application using spray booth techniques. Students are able to work in either cone 10 or cone 6 and will be encouraged to show a small body of work at the end of the course.
