Terms and Conditions

By enrolling yourself or someone else into one of our classes you agree to the following terms.

Auckland Studio Potters reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.

All new applications for enrolment in classes must be made through our website.

Auckland Studio Potters reserves the right to cancel a class if it fails to achieve a minimum number of enrolments, or for reasons outside its control. A full refund will be given if the course is cancelled by ASP.

If a student cancels an enrolment two or more weeks prior to course commencement then a full refund will be given. If a student cancels their enrolment within two weeks prior to course commencement then a 50% refund will be given. If a student cancels their enrolment within 5 days of the start date of the course then no refund will be given.

Auckland Studio Potters reserves the right to discontinue tuition for any student deemed by the Directors to be unsuitable for the course.

Auckland Studio Potters reserves the right to change the tutor on advertised courses and replace that tutor with another suitable tutor without advertising those changes or refunding course fees.

If a student is unable to attend a class/workshop/event please notify us via email as soon as possible. If you have been unwell you should not attend. We appreciate this courtesy to avoid the spread of illness to other students and staff.  We do not provide make up classes or refunds for classes that students were unable to attend.

Images and or filming of students participating in classes or any ASP activities are generally used for the promotion of ASP on our website and social media pages (Instagram/Facebook), or for other advertising. By enrolling you are allowing ASP permission to use your imagery. You may advise us via your enrolment form if you do not wish to have you or your child’s/students images to be used. You may request at any time to have an image removed.

ASP cannot be held responsible for any personal property you or your attendee brings onto the premises, and we cannot be liable for any loss or damage to such property.

Each class has an allocated shelf area for storing your clay work only during the term. This must be cleared out on the last day of term class regardless of whether you are re-enrolling for the following term. We do not store your clay or your tools at the Centre. Due to storage restrictions we cannot keep any unclaimed artwork after the end of each term.

Have a go gift cards are valid for a year after they are issued. They must be redeemed within a calendar year of purchase to be valid.

MEDICAL/REQUIREMENTS

Please advise us of any requirement that you/your attendee has in regards to allergies/medications. In case of emergency, please ensure that the phone number you provide is available for contact for the duration of the class. If your attendee has any other requirements that may assist us in teaching them please feel free to advise us prior to the start of class.

COVID

At the red traffic light, classes and workshops are able to go ahead which means we are not offering refunds or re-books. An alternative option is to find someone else to take your place in the class or workshop.

If a workshop is unable to go ahead on the planned date due to the tutor being Covid positive, we will reschedule these events to a later date. Refunds will only be possible if no suitable alternative date can be found.

By enrolling you agree to comply with ASP’s Health and Safety Procedures
