About: Introduction to Crystalline glazes

Dive into the fascinating world of crystalline glazes. Learn how to create, apply, and adapt these magical glazes to grow stunning crystals at ^6. 

The course will cover making test tiles, firing schedules, slow cooling, testing techniques and how to prepare your pieces for kiln firing. 

Glaze recipes and firings are included in the course. Basic glaze knowledge is an advantage but not essential. It will suit potters who have an eye for detail and an interest in glaze chemistry.

How to apply glaze

How to adapt a glaze to change the size and amount of crystals.
