About:

A 4 week, wheel thrown, plate making workshop with master potter Peter Collis. Peter has made extensively for NZs top restaurants. He will be teaching the essentials of successful plate making of all sizes.  

This workshop is for potters with intermediate experience.

Please bring a shared morning tea.

Students must:

  • Purchase their own clay.

  • Pay for their own firing & glazing

  • Bring their own clay tools (some are available for purchase in the office)

  • Bring their own apron and towel

  • Provide own dust mask and gloves for glazing

  • Bring their own bats for throwing. Some are available for use in studio.

Please note:

  • ASP is only able to fire clay brands/types that ASP stock

  • Clean up and set up times are within the 3 hours allocated for class time
