Taught by Peter Lange with over 40 years in clay behind him, the Monday morning class concentrates on wheel-throwing and its emphasis is on functional domesticware. We work towards firing a salt or soda kiln twice a year.
This is a mixed class, with both experienced students and beginners. Topics covered include wheel throwing, slab vessels and glazing.
This class is for students with some wheel experience, who are looking to improve their basic throwing techniques and try new forms. We will also cover glazing techniques this term.
