The ASP congratulates member Merilyn Wiseman on gaining one of the annual Laureate awards. The awards were presented by the Arts Council to Merilyn, Michael Houston, Colin McColl, Sarah-Jayne Howard and Moana Maniapoto at a gala event at Wellington's Embassy Theatre on 21 November. Merilyn is a long-standing member of Auckland Studio Potters, and has exhibited in not only our annual exhibitions, but many others, both national and international. She is a past winner of the Fletcher Challenge award and the Portage Ceramic Award. We are proud to have her as a member. You can find out more about Merilyn and her work at her website.
