Facilities

The ASP Centre has facilities and equipment for hire to students and members.

The main studio is available for general use when not in use for classes, weekend schools etc.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 13:00 - 17:00
Friday 13:00 - 16:00
Saturday 10:00 - 16:00 (check first for availability)

Costs:

Students and Members: $3.00/hr to a maximum of $9.00/day.
Diploma Students: Free

Studio Equipment:

• 16 electric wheels
• 3 Leach-type kick wheels
• Wedging table
• Work benches
• Heavy duty slab roller
• Large and small extruders
• Tile press
• Dedicated glazing area
• Spray booth
• Wax booth
• Heated drying cabinet
• Damp cupboards

Note: Work in progress may be temporarily stored at the Centre, but there are no storage facilities available to casual users for materials or equipment.

All the above are available as part of the normal studio hire.

Pug Mill

75mm Venco de-airing pug mill. Available for hire by students and members. Cost $10/hr.
