The Big Clay Day Out

The Big Clay Day Out (BCDO) is the ASPs main publicity and fundraising event. BCDO 2012 will be on Sunday 2nd December.

Highlights of the 2010 Big Clay Day Out

The BCDO is a great day out for the whole family. See Auckland’s largest pottery fair with great entertainment on the side.

• All sorts of ceramics are available at great prices for the discerning shopper.
• Delicious food available all day.
• Raku firing.
• Paint-a-pot.
• Make your own pot on the wheel.
• Games like the Slippery Dip and the Catapult.
• Exhibition of work by Auckland students of the Otago Polytechnic Diploma of Ceramic Arts course, which is taught through ASP.
• Get your Christmas shopping done early – and keep the family amused as well.
• Get an insight into the world of ceramics which is alive and well in Auckland.
