50th Birthday Party

5 November 2011 was the ASP's birthday bash, and in that best of ASP Guy Fawkes' traditions, it featured a fantastic performance kiln - as well as the unexpected bonus of a fireworks display from the stock car racers next door. 
The party started off with an afternoon tea in the amazingly transformed studio, and it was great to see people from all eras of ASP life turn up for that. There were musical interludes featuring Yuko Takahashi and later The Porcelaines (our own ASP band), and after dinner the Humble Souls rocked the studio for those brave enough to hit the dance floor. Peter Lange's birthday cake kiln was a flaming success, literally - special thanks to Tony Lowe, whose help both before and on the night ensured we had 50 candles lit. All in all a great celebration of our society.
